Different Styles of Sunglasses
A big part of our life today is wearing sunglasses. Some people wear them just to make a fashion statement others because they have learned the importance of sunglasses. We are seeing more and more different styles on the market today. The frames come in different colors and styles, from small dainty glasses to large wide styles. The lens comes in many different shades and colors from light to very dark. They also come in a wide price range so there is something for everyone to choose from.
There is no age group for sunglasses; everyone from the smallest child to the oldest adult can enjoy wearing sunglasses. Finding a style that's right for you depends on what activity you will be doing while wearing the sunglasses.. For example, you would want one type for driving, or a walk on the beach, something that may reflect your personality and the way others see you. On the other hand you would want a more appropriate type for boating or skiing, something that won't fly off while you are having fun.
Of course for those people who wear prescription glasses they have sunglasses for you too. You can choose from many different styles of clip-on, or have prescription sunglasses. Polarized glasses that change depending on the amount of sunlight can't be beat.
We all know that the suns UV rays can damage your eyes; therefore the most important thing to remember when picking out that pair of sunglasses is its UV protection. There are two forms of ultraviolet radiation, UVA and UVB. When buying sunglasses you need to make sure they block 99% to 100% of both types of UV rays. This information will be available on the glasses. Teaching children the benefits of wearing sunglasses is one good habit they will thank you for when they grow up. You are never too young to protect your eyes.
